travel diary: Tenerife, Spain
sun kissed, freckled and sipping on a Tropical Lìmon, Tenerife gets the best version of me.
I only brought the essentials — my Bare Hands nail kit, a book to read and my Em & May bikini, it’s all that fit in my ryanair carry on anyways.
in between the palm trees and little espresso cups, my mind is churning. while I’m running towards the waves or stomping through the streets in my cowboy boots, I can see my world from a distance. the things I love and the things I don’t all look the same from a million miles away. I can move and play and change what I need to…
I can write and write and re write my dream life into existence, so I think I will.
a travel guide (fool proof, this works in any destination):
read in the park
order coffee at a local cafe
find a thrift store and go through every single item
stop at a tourist shop and try on sunglasses
climb to the highest place you can find and take in the view
go to the grocery store and pick out snacks you’ve never tried
write in your journal in public
walk with no destination
call your friend and tell them you miss them
buy postcards and pour your heart out
wish you were here
